Palatine Electric String Quartet
The Palatine Electric String Quartet can offer an exciting modern edge to your function by providing background music on electric instruments instead of acoustic. The noticeable difference in hiring us to play electric is the amplified sound and the look of the instruments (the sound can be softly amplified or maxed up to fill a large banqueting hall through a PA). If required we can tailor our look for something more in keeping with a contemporary/modern feel.
We term ourselves as an "electric background quartet" due to the fact we do not at present have a choreographed show. We use lowered music stands and play from our standard repertoire as above in the picture. For weddings we play the same way either standing or sitting.
Each event is different so we would need to quote on an individual basis. A common package we provide is a pre dinner drinks acoustic set and then a 20-30 min electric set to lift the mood of the evening.
