Marsha
Marsha studied at Chethams School of Music and the RNCM and has worked with various orchestras including the Northern Sinfonia, London Pro Arte, the London Handel Orchestra and The Eighteenth Century Concert Orchestra. In contrast she has also played live and recorded with artists such as Sting, Lulu, Maurice Gibb, Natalie Cole and Rod Stewart. She has also played on TV shows including Parkinson, Top of the Pops and Strictly Come Dancing.
Marsha has written string arrangements for various artists including the DJ Tom Middleton as part of Amba, Spanish band Amaral and The Herbaliser. Her current writing project is called Jamm Factory, an electronic sound track interwoven with improvised violin playing. Other recent work includes solo electric violin work for the It Girls. |
